Which SAP Career Path is more suitable - Functional or Technical ?
Testing Experience also does not count as Functional Knowledge. For people with some experience in the testing area, it would be perhaps easier to get into SAP technical careers
rather than try and build expertise in a functional area.
For SAP Technical Careers, Testing Experience will be of possible use in
two aspects :
 Sharpening your Logical Systematic Thought Processes
Helping you design better quality Systems
Any and all programming knowledge helps to the extent
that is not just syntax oriented but based on a strong foundation
of concepts and understanding.
Try to get atleast 2 years of professional programming
experience and then move into SAP via the ABAP route.
