Microsoft and SAP to work together

During the last few months via my discussions on electronic forums and articles, I have been talking of consolidation happening in the ERP and overall software marketplace. Yesterday's news of Microsoft and SAP deciding to work together is just one small sign of the same.

Since SAP's Business One ERP Software is directly pitted against the various Microsoft ERP Solutionas for the Small to Medium Sized Business Market, it is interesting that they have decided to work together.

And even launch a joint website.

This demonstrates market maturity amongst two of the largest software vendors in the world.

Very similar to the committment made by Microsoft and SUN to work together in an Integrated fashion.

Good News for Users of IT and Software Services all over the world.
